This was the day before the Support Your High Street week campaign started which raises awareness of the High
Street a special place to visit and support.
During the week we had some really good news as we had been shortlisted for two Welsh Government Hero awards in relation to this campaign. One was in the Home, Leisure and Gardens category and the other in the Community Service Provider section. We are delighted to say that we were Highly Commended in the Home Leisure and Gardens and crowned winners of the Community Service Provider which means a lot to us. Our ethos ever since we opened Artie Craftie was to work with the community and raise awareness our World Heritage town of Blaenavon and this aware seals our commitment to this cause.
In the coming months we will be stocking up and preparing for Christmas - Artie has already started ordering some interesting "stocking fillers" and craftie presents for all ages and lots of things you need when it comes to Christmas craft.
A date for diary an open demonstration day with Crafters Companion who will be showing you some new ideas for
Christmas and to carry you into the new year.
We look forward to seeing you soon
Artie, Nick and Wendy
